Ergun evaluates capacity usage rates of sptember

As part of his evaluations about the Capacity Usage Rate of September which were announced by the Central Bank, Science, Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergun yesterday said that Turkey was expected to switch to a more reasonable growth rate due to uncertainty in European markets, but that there is likely to be no problem with reaching an annual growth rate of 7 percent. Ergun said that the capacity usage rate of September 2011 has increased by 2.7 points compared to the same month of last year and 0.1 points compared t previous year to reach 76.2 points and that the deseasonalized rate has increased by 2.7 points compared to the same period of last year and 0.3 points compared to previous period and climbed to 74.2 points. Stating that these figures indicate that Turkey will deliver an outstanding performance during the third quarter as one of the fastest growing countries in the world, Ergun said that Turkey could reach and even surpass a growth rate of 7 percent in 2011.
