Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergun said yesterday that a special network would be set up for Turkish scientists to ensure that they establish communication with all scientists throughout the world. Ergun added that the Turkish Scientists World Congress would be organized for the first time next year to bring together 10,000 Turkish scientists living abroad. Stating that they will also pave the way for Turkish scientists living abroad so that they could lecture in Turkey, Ergun said, "We will also take certain steps to determine young talents. As part of this, we will establish science centers in 81 provinces. The US has opened such centers in 1950s-1960s, where the children learn a scientific issue through experience. We will do the same in Turkey. The first science center will be established in Konya."
