Eroglu attends traditional iftar in Skopje
Forestry and Water Works Minister Veysel Eroglu attended the traditional iftar (fast-breaking meal) event which has been organized in Skopje, Macedonia for the last 21 years. Besides Eroglu and an accompanying delegation, the traditional iftar was attended by Macedonian Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanovski, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputy leader Salih Kapusuz, Macedonia's Islamic Religious Community (IVZ) leader Suleiman Redzepi, representatives from the Macedonian Orthodox Church as well as diplomats, businessmen, representatives of non-governmental organizations, Turkish societies from Kosovo, Serbia and Bulgaria and Parliament members from Turkey. Speaking at the event, Eroglu said that the Republic of Turkey has been exerting efforts to develop good relations in every field with the Republic of Macedonia. For his part, Gruevski said that everybody celebrated holidays with his/her friends in his country, as taught by their ancestors.
