Fatih Akın deemed worthy of Peter-Weiss Prize

Turkish director Fatih Akin was deemed worthy of the Peter-Weiss Prize. A statement issued by the Bochum city administration said that Akin would be presented his award in a ceremony to be held at the end of November. The Peter-Weiss Prize is biennially given to prominent figures from branches of literature, theater, art and cinema.
