In an interview with monthly Italian magazine 30 Giorni, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Pope Benedict the 16th understood Turkey’s integration to Europe and that he acted more courageously than politicians. While speaking about how Turkey carried out to become a democratic and Muslim country, Davutoglu also touched on Turkey’s multi cultural past.
