FM Davutoglu to visit Iraq, Syria

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is scheduled today to pay visits to Iraq and Syria in a bid to soothe relations between the neighboring countries over Baghdad's allegations that Damascus was sheltering insurgents. Davutoglu will meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem and also have talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari.
