Funeral service held for poeple killed in Gaziantep

A funeral ceremony was held yesterday at the Bahaeddin Nakiboglu Mosque in the southeastern city of Gaziantep Gaziantep for those who have lost their lives as a result of a terrorist attack on Monday. The funeral was attended by President Abdullah Gul, Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay, Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin, National Education Minister Omer Dincer, Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek, Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz, Labor and Social Security Minister Faruk Celik, Agriculture Minister Mehdi Eker, Family and Social Policies Minister Fatma Sahin, Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli, lawmakers from the Justice and Development Party (AKP), CHP and MHP, mayors of neighboring provinces, and approximately 15,000 citizens. President Gul expressed his condolences to the families of the victims while he was entering the mosque, where families of the victims burst into tears. "We have to stand all together on such days. The best answer to give the terrorist organization and their supporters is to stand together, to establish a common front against terror, as an entire nation, regardless of our own political views," Gul said.
