German Federal Ministry of Justice pays compensation to relatives pf victims of NSU murders

A statement issued by the German Federal Ministry of Justice said that a compensation totaling approximately 900,000 Euros have been paid to relatives of victims of the National Socialist Underground (NSU) gang which has killed 10 people, including eight Turks, and carried out various attacks in Germany between 2000 and 2007. The spouses and children of the ten people murdered by the NSU gang are set to receive 10,000 Euros each, while siblings will get 5,000 Euros.  Speaking on the issue, German Federal Minister of Justice Hans-Peter Friedrich said that he believed that the federal prosecutor’s office would sue many people within the context of the NSU murders.
