Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek yesterday made a statement about a referendum considered to be held regarding Gezi Park. "This is not a constitutional public voting, because the public voting is binding. If the people accept the text, you have to abide. But taking public opinion is a beacon for decision makers," Cicek told reporters at a press conference organized by the International Strategic Research Organization.
