Greece suspends 13 minority schools in western thrace

Greek authorities have temporarily shut down 13 minority schools in Western Thrace. In line with a decision published by the Greek Official Gazette on February 15, activities of 13 schools were suspended, pointing to low enrollment. Two teachers on the permanent staff were working in each of the mentioned schools, and reportedly the schools were temporarily shut down as part of austerity measures.
