Gul due at this week's OSCE summit in Kazakhstan

President Abdullah Gul is due to attend the two-day Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) summit of heads of state and government starting on Wednesday in Astana, Kazakhstan. Turkey will seek support for Ambassador Ersin Ercin to be elected the OSCE's new secretary general. From 2001 to 2004, Ercin served as Turkey's deputy permanent representative at the OSCE.
