Gul meets with Kilicdaroglu

Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu met with President Abdullah Gul on Thursday to discuss recent issues on Turkey's agenda. Reportedly, Gul and Kilicdaroglu discussed the ongoing peace process on the Kurdish issue and the efforts aimed at constitutional amendments. Speaking after the meeting, Kilicdaroglu said that Turkey was going through a critical period and everybody was deeply concerned, adding that all of us should perform our duties for the nation, because in such a process those who neglect their responsibilities cannot pay the price before history. Kilicdaroglu also made a statement prior to his meeting with Gul, expressing willingness that the Kurdish issue should be solved in accordance with laws and in a reasonable and mindful way.
