Gul to visit the Netherlands
President Abdullah Gul will pay an official visit to the Netherlands on April 16-19 on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between the two countries. As part of Gul's visit, a delegation of approximately 100 persons from private sector to be chaired by Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) and Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu will seek cooperation and investment opportunities in the Netherlands. Furthermore, Turkey-Holland Business Forum will be organized with participation of Gul, the Netherlands' Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation Minister Maxime Verhagen and Dutch Prince Willem Alexander and his wife Princess Maxima on April 17 in Amsterdam. The forum is expected to be attended by approximately 500 persons, who will hold roundtable meetings about areas such as agriculture and stockbreeding, renewable energy and environment technologies. A CEO forum will also be held with participation of a limited number of Turkish and Dutch CEOs and under chairmanship of Gul, Verhagen and Maxima.
