Gul visiting Kuwait today and tomorrow

President Abdullah Gul will fly today to Kuwait for a two-day visit at the invitation of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, Gul's office said yesterday. Gul is scheduled to participate in celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Kuwaiti independence, the 20th anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait, and the fifth anniversary of al-Sabah's coming to power. Gul is also set to discuss the current status of bilateral relations with the emir.
