Hamas leader thanks Erdogan in phone conversation

Hamas political bureau chairman Khaled Meshaal yesterday phoned Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and thanked him for Turkey’s contributions to providing a truce in Gaza. During the phone conversation, Meshaal also briefed Erdogan about developments following the truce secured by Israel and Palestine. Meshaal also said that Erdogan’s contributions with regard to the Gaza issue are never to be forgotten by Palestinians.
