Hammer: ”We're next to Turkey”

Speaking at a press conference at the Foreign Press Center in New York yesterday, US Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Michael Hammer said that US President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held very productive meetings recently in New York, in which they discussed how they could increase and better the cooperation in terms of fighting terrorism. Hammer added that the US, which has strong cooperation with Turkey, is next to Turkey in its fight against the terrorist PKK.
