Hisarciklioglu invites king of Spain to Turkey

President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Vice President of Eurochambres, Rifat Hisarciklioglu who has traveled to Madrid to attend the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres) Presidency Meeting, was received by King of Spain Juan Carlos, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo, Deputy Ministers of Economy and Tourism. Hisarciklioglu who spoke after meeting with King of Spain Juan Carlos said, "I provided information regarding the chambers system in Turkey and the structure of TOBB. I thanked Spain for her support for Turkey’s membership to the European Union." TOBB President Hisarcikloglu who stated that he invited King Juan Carlos of Spain to Turkey said that the King noted the invitation. Attending a dinner hosted by the Spanish Trade Chambers Council with State Secretary for Economy Fernando Jiménez Latorre, Hisarciklioglu also met with several Spanish parliament members. Hisarciklioglu stated that the main subjects of the Eurochambres Presidency Council Meeting were economic crisis, Spain’s condition and the role of chambers in surmounting crises.
