Hof holds contacts at Prime Minister's office and relevant institutions

Washington, accelerating its diplomatic initiatives with regard to Syria and Iran, sent a high-level diplomat to Ankara. Fred Hof, an official from the US State Department of State for Syria, held a series of contacts at the Prime Minister's Office and relevant institutions in Ankara yesterday. Reportedly, incidents on the southern border of Turkey were high on his agenda. Hof also discussed the steps to be taken with regard to Syria and exchanged opinions with Turkish officials.
