Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, currently in Bulgaria for an official visit, yesterday gave messages promoting peace in the Caucasus, saying, "We changed the nature of our relations with Serbia in just a year." He added, "I met with my Serbian counterpart 11 times in last six months. Why shouldn't we do the same with Armenia?" Stating that the conflicts between Serbians and Bosnians were more recent and painful, Davutoglu said, "We have been conducting tripartite meetings with Bosnians and Serbians. Why can't we do the same with Armenians and Azeris?" In Sofia, Davutoglu met with his Bulgarian counterpart Nickolay Mladenov.
