In mini-mideast tour, Davutgolu visits three countries in one day
On the first stop of a busy day, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu yesterday traveled to Manama, Bahrain. During his visit, Davutoglu held talks with Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmad bin Muhammad Al Khalifa, as well as several other high-level officials and representatives of political groups, the Foreign Ministry said. After his official meetings, Davutoglu proceeded to Qatar for talks with Qatar Crown Prince Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad El Tani. Speaking on recent events in North Africa and the Mideast, Davutoglu called them important developments, adding that he spoke with Bahrain's king and other officials about these subjects. In Qatar, Davutoglu was also expected to speak with Council of Libya member Mahmud Cibril, before then traveling to Syria.
