Injured red crecent personel broughy from Somalia

Three personnel of the Turkish Red Crescent (Kizilay) who were wounded during the bomb attack in Somalia were brought in Turkey and transferred to Ataturk Training and Research Hospital by an ambulance plane late on Monday. Reportedly, the wounded persons who earlier had received the first aid from Doctors Worldwide's Turkish volunteer doctors were in good health. Speaking to reporters on Monday about the attack, Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag said that the three Turkish aid workers were in good condition. "The injuries sustained by our citizens are not life-threatening. Their health is quite good. One air ambulance from Turkey will fly to Mogadishu tonight to bring them back to Ankara. They will continue to receive medical care in Turkey. There is nothing to worry about at the moment; we have three wounded workers with light injuries," Bozdag noted. In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Turkey condemned the terrorist attacks that took place in several parts of Mogadishu, expressing deep sorrow for the civilians who died or were wounded in the attacks.
