IOC Members To Visit Istanbul To Discuss Turkey’s Candidacy To Host 2020 Olympic Games

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) members will visit Istanbul to conduct some survey as from March 25 to 27 to discuss the process of Turkey’s candidacy to host the Olympic Games in 2020. IOC members will also hold a meeting with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul which will be attended by Youth and Sports Minister Suat Kilic, Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim, Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu, Interior Minister Muammer Guler, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Environment and Urbanism Minister Erdogan Bayraktar and National Olympic Committee of Turkey (TMOK) members as well.  Istanbul Mayor Kadir Topbas is also expected to make a presentation on the sidelines of the meeting.
