Irsen Kucuk re-elected as UDP leader

Irsen Kucuk, Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and leader of the National Unity Party (NUP), was re-elected as the party leader during yesterday's general congress. Speaking on the sidelines of the elections, Council Chairman of Congress Chairman Huseyin Ozgurgun said that Kucuk has received 704 votes, and the other candidate Gazimagosa deputy Ahmet Kasif got the votes of 690 delegates.
