The defense magazine "Jane's Defence Weekly" wrote that the defense trade between Israel and Turkey was continuing despite ban. According to a report published in its latest issue, trade between Israel and Turkey was continuing despite worsening relations and a recent trade ban imposed by Ankara against Israeli firms. The magazine wrote that the past defense trade between the two countries has been substantial, with Turkey a major export market for many Israeli defense companies. However, the publicly relaxed view of Israeli firms belies declining defense trade between Israel and Turkey in recent years. The article reiterated that Turkey has suspended all military cooperation with Israel including sales of defense equipment in September.
