Istanbul to host next year's leaders of change summit

Next March Istanbul will host a Leaders of Change Summit to be held by Istanbul University and the Turkish Future Research Foundation. Among those invited to the summit, where forecasts of the world's future will be discussed, are US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, and prominent academics. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will deliver the opening speech of the summit, and President Abdullah Gul will deliver the closing address.
