JCR upgrades Turkey's credit note

Following similar moves by Fitch and Moody's, the Japan Credit Rating Agency (JCR) yesterday raised Turkey's credit rating by one note, BB (-) to BB, citing its impressive performance in the face of the global financial crisis and its autonomous recovery in 2009. JCR estimated Turkey's growth this year will exceed 5%. The effect of the upgrade on the markets was limited.
