Jordan's Prime Minister Awn Khasawneh submitted his resignation to King Abdullah yesterday. Khasawneh participated the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Constitutional Court of Turkey and hold a meeting with President Abdullah Gul yesterday. Khasawneh confirmed the news on his way to Istanbul from Ankara. Diplomatic sources cited that Turkish Foreign Ministry had not been informed about his resignation before the visit. King Abdullah approved the resignation and accused Khasawneh of not making enough efforts for reforms. Despite his resignation, Khasawneh said he will meet Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan today as a lawyer, not as a prime minister.
