Kazakh president Nazarbayev due in Turkey

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will arrive in Ankara tomorrow for a three-day official visit at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul. Accompanied by large business delegation, Nazarbayev's talks will focus on improving bilateral trade ties and economic cooperation. Kazakhstan wants to benefit from Turkey's experiences in especially the textile and agriculture sectors, and is also eager to get economic know-how in the areas of energy, chemical production, pharmaceuticals, and construction. To this end, Kazakhstan plans to introduce tax cuts and incentives for foreign investors, particularly Turkish ones. In related news, a leading Turkish company, Symbol Construction, is expected to assume responsibility for planning the construction of a major tourism project in Borobay, Kazkhstan.
