King of Norway to visit with 130 businessmen

King of Norway, Harald V and the Queen Sonja will arrive in Turkey for an official visit that will last for 3 days upon the invitation by President Abdullah Gul. This is going to be the first visit from Norway to Turkey at this level. More than 130 businessmen will accompany the King. Political and economic relations between the two countries and ways of increasing the trade volume and the possibilities of mutual investments will be discussed and views will be exchanged on regional and international matters in the talks. Besides being a producer of oil and natural gas, Norway has considerable know-how and experience in terms of renewable energy resources. The delegation will include officials from the Norwegian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce, which was founded with the initiatives of Turkish businessmen. President of the Chamber Kemalettin Suslu said that Turkey has been a rising star in recent years and Norway has discovered it.
