Last patriot batteries arrive Turkey

Following the arrival of Patriot missile batteries from Germany and the Netherlands, the US batteries have arrived in Turkey. The vessel "Alliance Charleston" carrying the air defense systems docked at Iskenderun Port the day before and a convoy of trucks, loaded with the battery units, headed to Gaziantep yesterday morning. Moreover, the German batteries deployed in Kahramanmaras were introduced to the press in a ceremony attended by the German Ambassador to Turkey Eberhard Pohl. Underlining the exemplary solidarity between Germany and Turkey, Pohl said they were standing by Turkey which shoulders a heavy burden.
