Libyan army to be trained by Turkish armed forces

After meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Libyan Transitional National Council President Moustapha Abduljalil said that an agreement was reached on the training of Libyan armed forces in Turkey. Abduljalil stated that efforts aimed at transition to a regular army were underway and that relevant results would be announced to public next week.
