Literaty lights Yasar Kemal, Gunter Grass set to meet in Istanbul

Two world-famous Turkish and German writers are set to meet in Istanbul this spring at a literary meeting. Renowned German and Turkish novelists Gunter Grass and Yasar Kemal are scheduled to attend an April 15 meeting held by Goethe Institute in cooperation with the Turkish-German Culture Forum, of which both Kemal and Grass are honorary presidents, to discuss the problems of the literary world. Kemal and Nobel laureate Grass last year also both attended a meeting at the Berlin Academy of the Arts.
