Marbling events mark the 2013 Turkish Culture year in China

Within the framework of events marking the 2013 Turkish Culture Year in China, Chinese people showed great interest in the Turkish marbling art exhibited at Chaoyang Park. A great many Chinese people watched marbling artists performing their art and created their own work. Speaking at the event, Turkish Ambassador in Beijing Murat Salim Esenli said that many activities were organized to mark the 2013 Turkish Culture Year in China, aimed at sharing the Turkish art with Chinese people as well. For his part, marbling artist Kubilay Eralp Dincer said that marbling was a traditional Turkish art, deriving from Central Asia and carried to Anatolia through the Silk Road.
