Motion on extending term of cross-border operation in northern Iraq sent to parliament

A motion on extending the term of cross-border operation in northern Iraq was sent to Parliament yesterday. Following the Council of Ministers meeting on Monday, Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that the motion, which extended the term of deploying Turkish soldiers in the north of Iraq for operation against PKK terrorists, was signed by the Council of Ministers and sent to Parliament. Arinc added that the motion extended the term one more year as of October 17, 2012.
