Netherlands' ambassadors to Turkey hosts a reception

The Netherlands' Ambassador to Turkey Jan Paul Dirse, whose term in office has ended, yesterday hosted a reception on the occasion of the Dutch national day. The event was attended by Turkey's Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, National Education Minister Nabi Avci, politicians, ambassadors and many other prominent guests. During the reception, Dirse informed the guests on a ceremony in which Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands has formally handed the throne to her son Prince Willem-Alexander in the Royal Palace in Amsterdam on Tuesday. Accordingly, the guests have seized the opportunity of watching the ceremony in a slide show.
