Number of Chinese tourists visiting Turkey expected to increase

Ozaslan, assistant secretary of the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry, said yesterday that the number of Chinese tourists visiting Turkey was expected to increase thanks to cultural activities to be held as part of the Year of Chinese Culture in Turkey in 2012. Stating that the number of Chinese tourists visiting Turkey has increased by 27.04 percent as from the end of October, compared to the same period of previous year, Ozaslan said that this figure was expected to further increase in 2012 with positive reflections on the number of tourists from Central Asia, Balkans, Europe and Middle East as well.
