Obama expected in Istanbul next month to attend alliance of civilizations forum

US President Barack Obama is reportedly expected to be in Istanbul early next month to attend the Second Annual Forum of the Alliance of Civilizations, the UN-backed initiative launched by Turkey and Spain. The meeting is co-sponsored by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Spanish Premier Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero.
