Pakistan to give PM Erdogan Medal of Merit

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari will decorate Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan with Pakistan's highest medal during his visit there this weekend. Pakistan's Presidential Office said Erdogan would be decorated with the State Medal of Merit in recognition of his contributions to improving political and economic relations between the two countries and supporting Pakistan on international platforms. The award will be presented to Erdogan by Zardari at a ceremony at the Presidential Palace.
