Parliament speaker Sahin holds talks in TRNC

Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin yesterday went to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) for his first visit in his new post. Speaking to reporters after meeting with TRNC President Mehmet Ali Talat, Sahin reiterated Turkey's firm support for the TRNC in all areas. Stating that Turkey always deals with problems of the people of the TRNC, he added that Turkey supports every TRNC effort for freedom, equity, peace and wealth. "Turkey will support the TRNC in all areas, as always," he said. For his part, Talat expressed pleasure at Sahin's visit. Afterwards, Sahin visited his counterpart Hasan Bozer.
