PM Erdogan opens Turkish consulate in Sao Paolo

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday attended the opening ceremony of Turkish consulate in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Delivering a speech, Erdogan said that the foreign trade volume between Turkey and Brazil reached to $350-400 million, and added that the amount isn’t enough for them. "We are determined to boost our commercial relations with Brazil," he said, "We are taking political steps in this direction." He said that the agreement signed on Iran's nuclear program last week, with the initiatives of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and him, was a highly important step. He said, "We are now on the agenda of the world and the whole world is talking about this agreement." Erdogan also inaugurated the First Turkey Export Goods Fair held by the Istanbul Chamber of Trade (ITO).
