PM Erdogan phones Bulgarian premier Borisov

Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan yesterday telephoned his newly elected Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borisov. The two discussed regional cooperation and security issues as well as the Nabucco project, a pipeline to transport Caspian natural gas to Europe via Turkey. Erdogan also expressed his pleasure at Bulgarian sculptor Vejdi Rashidov, who is of Turkish origin, being appointed culture minister in the country's new cabinet.
