President Gul receives Iraqi delegation

President Abdullah Gul received Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Osama Abdul Aziz al-Nujaifi and his accompanying delegation at the Tarabya Residence in Istanbul. During the one-hour meeting, Gul reiterated Turkey's heartfelt wish that Iraq takes the place it deserves in the region as a stable, prosperous and esteemed country which has restored internal peace and which has solidified its union and solidarity. For his part, al-Nujaifi extended their thanks to Gul for Turkey's warm hospitality.
