President Gul visit Oman

President Abdullah Gul, accompanied by 80 businessmen, yesterday arrived in Muscat as the guest of Omani Sultan Qaboos bin Said al-Said, in the first visit by a Turkish president to Oman in 13 years. Gul was received with an official ceremony by Qaboos followed by a meeting at the Al-Alam Royal Palace, with Agriculture Minister Mehdi Eker also present. Gul will also attend a Turkish-Omani Business Forum to discuss investment and cooperation opportunities before returning to Turkey tomorrow.
