President Gul yesterday left for India for an official visit with an accompanying delegation. Gul told journalists on the plane that Parliament should not be underestimated, as all political views in Turkey are represented there. Stating that there is a broad consensus on the need for a new constitution, Gul added, "However, this chance has been missed due to various reasons." Among the delegation are movie director Sinan Cetin and producer Mine Vargi, who said they are seeking to attract Indian producers to Turkey to boost the film sector. "The biggest demand for Indian exports is in the service industry," explained Gul. "For this reason, the film sector is very important."
