Reinhard boss resigns in wake of neo-Nazi investigation
Reinhard Boos, the head of Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution in the eastern state of Saxony, resigned, as his staff failed to provide lawmakers with intelligence records related to a neo-Nazi group suspected of killing 10 people, including 8 Turks. Saxony's interior minister Markus Ulbig said, "The president (of the Saxony state intelligence service) deeply regrets this occurrence which is why he has asked me to give him another post from August 1 of this year." Head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Heinz Fromm, has also resigned earlier as part of the same investigation.
