Ricciardone: "We conveyed all information to Turkey"

Touching upon the Turkish aircraft which was downed by Syria on June 22, US Ambassador in Ankara Francis Ricciardone said, "The US has conveyed all information about the Turkish jet downed over the east of Mediterranean Sea to the Turkish government." Stressing that downing of the Turkish jet without any warning was unacceptable, Ricciardone said, "Turkey, our ally, has lost its two pilots and it seems that they were in an unarmed jet. American technical searching facilities have worked in cooperation with Turkey. We are pleased that Turkish pilots have been found." Ricciardone added that information that the US has was in compliance with the information Turkey has about the incident.
