US Ambassador to Turkey Francis Ricciardone said Ankara would be involved in the process of use of Patriot missiles to be installed in Turkey. "Do not worry. Turkey will be involved in the process soon. This is not strange, but a procedure of alliance aiming to show our solidarity with Turkey, said Ricciardone. Ricciardone answered the reporters’ questions at a reception which was given in the honor of US Undersecretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Tara D. Sonenshine. In response to a question whether there was disagreement between the allies with regard to the number of missiles to be installed in Turkey, Ricciardone said that the issue was a matter of availability and Turkey's needs. “These are technical questions and it is a matter of availability -- Turkey's desire and what the allies can provide. There will be an agreement based on what the allies can provide and what Turkey wants and needs,” Ricciardone added.
