Rivers and lakes in Ottoman Empire International Symposium to be held in Erciyes
The Rivers and Lakes in the Ottoman Empire International Symposium is set to bring together some 130 academics, researchers, historians and soldiers from various countries on May 2-3 on the occasion of 2013 the Year of Piri Reis. The participants of symposium to be hosted by Erciyes University, Ministry of Transportation, Maritime and Communication and the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs will discuss such issues as information, engineering, law, agriculture and war of cultures in a journey extending from the Danube River to the Dead Sea and the Tigris and Euphrates.
