Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra to perform in Istanbul

Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, led by conductor Lorin Maazel, will be performed on November 10 at the Halic Congress Center in Istanbul on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Turkey. The concert, which is organized by the Istanbul Foundation of Culture and Arts (IKSV) and supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, will be attended by Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands as well. The concert will feature Peter van Anrooy’s Piet Hein Rhapsody, excerpts from Sergei Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suite and Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36.
