Russia expresses support for three-way system proposed by Turkey
Mikhail Bogdanov, deputy foreign minister for Middle East and Russian President Vladimir Putin's special representative, supported a three-way negotiation mechanism which was suggested by Turkey. "We are ready to take part in such tri-partite groups," said Bogdanov, adding that all sorts of dialogue mechanisms to be established in order to find a solution to grave problems suffered in Syria would be useful. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has offered to establish a three-member group to boost dialogue over a solution to the Syria crisis, saying that the group's alternative settings could include Turkey with two other members from among Russia, Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia.
